The Ryan White Care Act was created in 1991 to provide care to those living with HIV/AIDS and their families. The Ryan White funding provides services such as outpatient care, case management, home health care, housing, transportation and nutrition education. Since the creation of the Ryan White Care Act, 571,000 people have received services.
Care Alliance Health Center has a Title III Program which provides HIV/AIDS patients with comprehensive medical and dental care, case management services, and mental health and chemical dependency services.
Our Outreach program consists of two full time Outreach workers who provide HIV/AIDS education and prevention throughout seven community sites. Care Alliance conducts anonymous/confidential counseling and testing. Our Outreach team has administered over 650 HIV tests in the last year.
