Medical Providers | Angel Brown, D.O. Medical Director | 
| Dr. Brown began serving as a physician and the Medical Director at Care Alliance in July, 2007. She is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Brown completed her internship at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC and her residency at South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Prior to attending medical school she worked as a family nurse practitioner and a certified nurse midwife. | |
| | Jane Li, DO, DHom, MA |  | Dr. Jane Li, DO, DHom, MA joined Care Alliance in February of 2010 with over sixteen years of family medicine experience along with a strong interest in integrative medicine. She is a 1993 graduate of Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine located in Athens, Ohio. Before joining Care Alliance, she was practicing family medicine for over twelve years with Kaiser Permanente in Strongsville, Ohio. Because of her interest in natural medicine, she took an additional 2 year training course in Homeopathic medicine with the British Institute of Homeopathy and receieved a Diploma in Homeopathy (DHom) in 2010. Before her medical career, she received a Masters degree in Biology from Cleveland State University and worked in research and teaching. | | | | Dan Meges, M.D., F.A.C.P. | 
| Dr. Meges has been dedicated to the practice of internal medicine in Cleveland for over thirty years, spending the majority of his time at Parma Hospital where he worked for seventeen years. His interests span the medical field and are highlighted by his work lecturing and teaching in hospitals. Dr. Meges is one of the founding memebers of INNOVA, an organization of medical professionals dedicated to the provision of affordable, comprehensive medical care to Cleveland residents. His dedication to the provision of healthcare for the homeless and indigent populations led him to assume the position of Medical Director at the St. Malachi Center since 1992. At that point in his career he also began to serve patients of Care Alliance at the St. Malachi Center. We are grateful to have Dr. Meges on board at Care Alliance! | | | | Lisa Navracruz, MD, FAAFP, AAHIVS |  | Dr. Navracruz completed her medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2000. While in medical school she coordinated the student-run Arbor Free Clinic, ran a class pairing medical students with pregnant moms, and participated in a research study of children's aggression and their exposure to media violence. Dr. Navracruz did a Residency in Family Medicine at Case/University Hospitals, serving as Chief Resident before completing a Fellowship in Faculty Development with a focus in adolescent health. Dr. Navracruz currently serves as the Associate Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Case/UHC, the coordinator of the Teen clinic at the Free Clinic of Greater Cleveland, and the Coordinator of Medical Education at Care Alliance. Her professional areas of interest include patient-centered care, adolescent health, and campus-community partnerships. | | | | Belinda Brown, Family Nurse Practitioner | 
| Belinda Brown joined the Care Alliance team in the fall of 2008 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her BSN and Nurse Doctorate from Rush University in Chicago. Belinda is certified as an HIV care provider and has over ten years of experience providing care people living with HIV/AIDS. We are happy to have her on our team! | | | | Mary Griffith, Adult Nurse Practitioner | 
| Mary Griffith joined Care Alliance in March 2005. She began her career as a staff nurse at University Hopitals of Cleveland where she worked for 16 years in various clinical areas. She worked for 12 years in the Adult Emergency Department. She received both her BSN and MSN from Case Western Reserve University and has been inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society of Nursing. She obtained her nurse practitioner certification in 1994 and worked in occupational health and diabetes/lipid research before joining Care Alliance where she provides adult primary care services. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Mary chairs the organization's Quality Improvement/Risk Management Committee. | | | | Maureen Roheny, Nurse Practitioner | 
| Maureen joined Care Alliance in 2008 and brought with her a wealth of knowledge from her experiences in the medical field working with underserved populations. Maureen received her Bachelors of Science degree from Cleveland State University and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron. She is a native of Cleveland and lives with her husband and three teenage sons. |

Nurses | | Donna Kelly, RN |  | Donna Kelly works at Care Alliance as the Outreach Charge Nurse. Her patients include those living in shelters, in campsites, under bridges and in abandoned buildings. Donna began her work with individuals experiencing homelessness in 1978 as a social worker and later as a nurse following receiving her Nursing Diploma at MetroHealth Medical Center School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2006, Donna was awarded the Red Cross Health Care Hero of the Year Award. We are honored to have Donna on our team. | | | | | | Ann McDermott, BSN |  | Ann McDermott is the Care Alliance Public Housing Nurse Manager. A life-long resident of Cleveland, Ann graduated from Huron Hospital School of Nursing and then attended Cleveland State University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Ann has been with Care Alliance since october, 2003 and is currently the Nurse Manager for the Public Housing Clinics. She has a special interest in Community Health and patient education. | | | | | | Karen Ridley, RN, BSN, CDE | | Karen joined the Care Alliance Team in February, 2010 as the Diabetes & Chronic Care Coordinator. | | | Dena Young, RN, BSN |  | Dena Young joined the Care Alliance Team in February, 2010 as the Women's Health Outreach Nurse. Her background and foundation is in Emergency Nursing. She worked at several Emergency Rooms in the City of Cleveland and as a travel nurse for several years at various ER's throughout the United States. Ms. Young has also worked in the Ohio Prison System and for the past several years at Occupational Health and the City of Cleveland Jail-City Side Booking. Ms. Young was the Nurse Manager at the Free Clinic of Greater Cleveland from 1997 - 2000. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University. |

Dental Providers | | Nicole Harris, DDS Dental Director |  | Dr. Harris is a general dentist who has been practicing with Care Alliance since their dental clinic first opened in 2002. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University's School of Dental Medicine. Prior to working with Care Alliance, she completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program with Case Western Reserve University's School of Dental Medicine and University Hospitals. Dr. Harris is committed to providing patients with access to much needed dental care. | | | | | | Leonard G. Galicki, DDS |  | Dr. Galicki joined the Care Alliance team originally as the Dental Director in July, 2002, following almost thirty years in private practice as a general family dentist. Dr. Galicki also provides in-home fitness instruction and is a certified Personal Trainer. Dr. Galicki holds a BS and DDS certification from Case Western Reserve University. | | | | | | Suparna Mahalaha, DDS |  | Dr. Mahalaha is a 2001 graduate of the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. As a research fellow through the National Cancer Institute, she focused on oral cancer awareness and screening patterns among dentists in various practice modalities.
