In response to the need for immediate global action to address lifetimes of neglect toward our earth, Care Alliance is proud to establish a "Green Team" to spearhead a new initiative to make our agency more environmentally conscious.
Initially, the Green Team will identify work to develop an agency-wide recycling program, encourage staff to cut back on energy use, eliminate wasteful printing and begin to critically track our energy use.
Longer term, the Green Team will explore ways of integrating eco-consciousness with health and wellness; encouraging staff and patients to do things that are good for the body and the earth.
