  • Family Nurse Practitioner: Care Alliance is looking for a dedicated individual to function as a patient provider on one of our Patient-Centered Medical Home teams. The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is responsible for providing ambulatory primary health care services to both individuals and families in a clinical setting. The FNP is responsible for delivering comprehensive, coordinated primary and preventative health care services to Care Alliance patients who are homeless, living in public housing, or generally underserved. The FNP should have a clear understanding of the scope of his/her nursing practice and his/her role as part of the health care team. On occasion, the FNP may be asked to oversee student nurse practitioners, new or volunteer nurse practitioners, and medical students.   • Registered Nurse – Women’s Health/Pediatrics: Care Alliance is looking for an experienced and dedicated RN specializing in women’s health and pediatrics, to work with one of our Patient-Centered Medical Home teams. RN will be responsible for identifying/creating curricula and conduct educational sessions on women’s health at area shelters and other community programs. Will provide patient navigator services to homeless women and those living in public housing, to help them obtain vital services regarding the breast and other women’s health issues. RN will work with Care Alliance, shelters, and other community programs to identify, schedule and market classes and recruit participants. Will form collaborative relationships with community health and social service agencies. Will maintain accurate records of all education, outreach activities and participate in program evaluation.   • Behavioral Health Counselor: Care Alliance is looking for a Behavioral Health Counselor to support mental health and substance use triage and assessments for patients as part of an inter-disciplinary, Patient-Centered Medical Home team. The Behavioral Health Counselor will address and reduce barriers to mental health and substance abuse care for patients of Care Alliance Health Center. Volunteer & Internship Opportunities

  • Web Design/Graphic Design Intern: Care Alliance is seeking an experienced individual to assist our External Affairs team with in-house marketing and communications strategies. The Design Intern will be responsible for creating visual content for web and print based publications. Duties include: maintenance of website and social media platforms; design of promotional materials for patient services, special events, and quarterly health campaigns; development of multimedia projects for health education and awareness; and upkeep of community-based advertisements and clinic-based regulatory materials. Eligible candidates should be highly motivated self-starters who possess good communication skills and the ability to multi-task and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.   • HIV Testing Volunteer: Our Ryan White team is looking for volunteers to help with HIV testing events in the community. Care Alliance has a Mobile Testing Unit that goes to health fairs and other community events. This opportunity would involve working with our HIV Services team to solicit folks to be tested, educate them about their risk, and deliver testing. All pre- and post- test counseling will be done by our team. Volunteer time commitment is flexible.
