Professional Bio

Gladys Opong-Tetteh, joined the Care Alliance Executive team with over a total of 35 years in diversified experiences, including twelve years at the preeminent Miami-Dade County’s federally qualified community healthcare centers, (FQHC), her responsibilities include Area Director of Human Resources, Team builder in Operational Management, Customer Service Training and Development, and Transportation Services. Ms. Tetteh is an advocate fanatic who coordinates intervention services with Staff, Patients and Guests Relations. She further identifies related problems via staff, patient and guest data to work in collaboration with Administrators, Physicians, and Staff for effective resolutions. She monitors and coordinates practice activities ensuring that staff, patients and guests receive efficient and effective services. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical and Health Education from the University of Winneba, Ghana, Master of Education and Educational Specialist Degree in Leadership and Human Relations Management from Alabama State University, Montgomery, Alabama. Presently she is a Ph.D. candidate working on her dissertation on Patient Advocacy from the School of Health Sciences at Walden University.

This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n), and a deemed FTCA facility.

This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain Health or Health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and it’s covered individuals.
