A letter to our Cleveland Community

A letter to our Cleveland Community

June 26, 2020

In the last few weeks, several horrific events have heightened our awareness of the challenges historically faced by African Americans. We have witnessed the passion, the outrage, and the solidarity within the hearts, minds, and souls of our community. The Board and Staff of Care Alliance Health Center respect each individual’s dignity and unequivocally reject social injustice in any form. We also recognize that substantial changes in our world and our community are warranted.

Care Alliance has been a fixture in Cleveland for over 35 years and it has always been and will continue to be our mission to provide quality health care to everyone.

Our mantra “Care for you. Care for me. Care for all.” is an impetus for listening, understanding and inclusion and our immediate priority will be to continue to be here for and with our Cleveland family.

Gratefully, The Care Alliance Health Care Team

ABOUT CARE ALLIANCE HEALTH CENTER Care Alliance Health Center (CAHC) is a non-profit federally qualified community health center providing comprehensive primary and preventive medical, dental, behavioral health and wrap-around services to families and individuals, regardless of the ability to pay. Each year Care Alliance serves more than 16,000 Clevelanders. We are recognized as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), which is an innovative program for improving primary care for our patient population at the St. Clair location. Other sites of CAHC are striving for this recognition. The program gives practical information about organizing care around patient needs, working in teams, and coordinating and tracking care over time.
