Prevention Services

Walk-In Testing

Clinical staff members at each of our sites have been trained in HIV testing and risk reduction counseling so that testing can be offered upon request at each site. Walk-in testing is also available every Wednesday from 9am-4pm at our Central Neighborhood Clinic, Carl B. Stokes Clinic, and Riverview Tower Clinic. Confidential, rapid testing is performed in less than 15 minutes by a certified HIV testing counselor during walk-in hours.

PrEP

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (or PrEP) is when people at very high risk for HIV take HIV medicines daily to lower their chances of getting infected.  Care Alliance Health Center is a proud PrEP provider. Contact our HIV Prevention team or our clinic call center today to schedule an assessment and to see if PrEP is right for you.

Outreach Testing

Care Alliance collaborates with several safety-net service providers throughout the Cleveland community to offer free, confidential HIV testing in outreach settings. Many of these outreach testing opportunities take place via our HIV Testing Mobile Unit.
